Session 1: The Temple of Elemental Evil

We haven't been playing the campaign with the three of us for a very long time now, and I think I actually forgot to write anything down for the last one. However, we have another campaign.

These characters are one's we have had for about two years now. They were our first D&D characters for some of us, and therefore are quite dear to us. We've taken them right from level 1, up to level 6 for some of us now, and this is our most recent campaign; Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. There are tabled character sheets available under the Original Characters page.

Session Three: Journey to the Lost Refuge

This was the most recent session we did. On the 23rd May (only a couple of days ago), and as I had then decided I was going to be typing all this shit up, it's a lot more in depth.

Okay, so when last we met we had been annoyed to find that TD was not impressed with what we had achieved within the fake Temple to Mistra. We had been given a map from Mher, before he betrayed us - the bastard. This is that map:
And so we begin...

Session 2: The Temple of Mistra continued...

We begin this session with a recap of what's gone on so far - it helps that I write things down because in the week since we had the first session, I'd mostly forgotten everything that had been going on (I should probably mention; I'm Cora - the pirate).

When last we met we were holed up in a long forgotten bedroom, sleeping off our wounds. We had managed to infiltrate the temple of 'Mistra', though it is quite apparent that that is simply a front for something far more sinister.

Now, it's time for us to awaken...

Session 1: Temple of Mistra

This session began with us double checking over our characters. We'd spent a good few hours the week before sorting out our characters, their back stories etc. Cora was a pirate - betrayed by someone she thought to be a friend. Car is an entitled trouble maker, trying to make his way in the world one hat at a time. Yelena...well Yelena's life is one tragic experience after the next, we won't go into that.

We begin with a little bit of background on Cormyr:

Introduction

I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about a year now, and I've pretty much gotten the hang of it. I love it more than I thought I would. I'm not a role-player naturally, or at least I didn't think I was, but playing this game with my friends and fiance, I've had so much fun.

We (that is myself, my fiance and our two friends, Ashleigh and James) have embarked on a new campaign, with brand new characters. Set in Faerun, in Cormyr to be specific, we are working our way through Cormyr: The Tearing of the Weave. We've had three sessions so far, and while the encounters are designed for a party of four, we've been holding our own even though some of us *cough* James *cough* are so squishy it's ridiculous.

This is not any official Dungeons and Dragons site, frankly the notes I take throughout our games are just...bizarre looking back. But I'm going to type them how I write them, so it's going to be a very honest representation of how D&D works.

Now, onwards!
