About

I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about two years now, and I've pretty much gotten the hang of it. I love it more than I thought I would. I'm not a role-player naturally, or at least I didn't think I was, but playing this game with my friends and fiance, I've had so much fun.

We (that is myself, my fiance and our two friends, Ashleigh and James) have embarked on a new campaign, with brand new characters. Set in Faerun, in Cormyr to be specific, we are working our way through Cormyr: The Tearing of the Weave. We've had three sessions so far, and while the encounters are designed for a party of four, we've been holding our own even though some of us *cough* James *cough* are so squishy it's ridiculous.

However, we also have other characters, original characters that we created when we first started playing D&D as a group. I play a druid, with a wolf companion who has a strange desire for anything shiny. My fiance, Rob, plays a rogue who likes seducing ladies and stealing from our fighter. Ashleigh plays a sorcerer, who enjoys standing at the back and firing magic missiles. And Mark, my brother, plays a fighter, who likes to get in the way. We're currently playing through Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil. We've played some original campaigns with this group, but to get back into the swing of things, we're using an old pre-made one. It's been pretty good so far!

This is not any official Dungeons and Dragons site, frankly the notes I take throughout our games are just...bizarre looking back. But I'm going to type them how I write them, so it's going to be a very honest representation of how D&D works. There will be spoilers for any of the adventures that are created by parties separate to us.

Now, onwards!
